Nigeria’s business magnate, Aliko Dangote has expressed interest in more investment in Tanzania to create extra jobs. The billionaire equally disclosed his intention to send more investors to the East African country due to its conducive business environment.
The richest blackman did not reserve his impressions on the transformation of the country during his recent visit to President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the State House on May 24th, 2021.
“The business environment has changed dramatically, things have opened up but wherever that I go I will be Tanzania’s ambassador and I will tell people to come and invest here.” He said.
Dangote, who reportedly has an estimated cement manufacturing investment in Tanzania worth $770 million assured the President of his commitment to venture into more projects with potentials to contribute to the country’s economic growth.
“I promised her (President Samia) that we shall continue investing in Tanzania to create jobs, wealth and prosperity for the people of Tanzania” he said.
The business mogul added that, “I think she needs that support, we shall continue to invest in a large scale in Tanzania to support what she is doing, she can only do policies and we shall create the jobs.”
President Samia, the successor of Tanzania’s Bulldozer, John Pombe Magufuli also expressed her satisfaction in Dangote’s impactful investments adding that the government shall offer protection for all investors including him.
