Dubbed the “Man of the Moment”, popular Gambian Hip/Hop-Afro Beat super start, Jizzle has praised his fans for keeping his name on top of lead singers across the continent, whom he regards as “Well established Artists.
Jizzle has recently been leading on live streaming music sites such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer in The Gambia.
The 24-year-old rose to the scene of Gambian Music in a much-established manner in 2017, with the hit song ‘Man Of The Year’ ft Atenola, which song saw him nominated for the Best African Hip/Hop Artist in the All Africa Music Awards.
In a message captioned “I am grateful” released on his official Facebook page, Jizzle explained “My music is been listened to in 71 countries worldwide in 4 continents on Spotify alone in over a year and two months. My songs are claiming number 1 spots on Apple Music competing with well-established artists, who has more tools and resources than me. Most-Streamed Artist on Deezer. All these happened in over a year” He said.
A one time admirer of Wizkid, Mr. Eazi and Davido, Jizzle post along with his message, screenshots that saw Davido and Wizkid struggling behind his song, “Jealousy” featured in the “Finally” album, set to be lunched tomorrow, 23rd of November 2019 at the Independent Stadium of The Gambia, Bakau.
“Turn By Turn” also featured in the same album has replaced the national anthem of The Gambia. It is being played in every radio and TV station in The Gambia and beyond.
As he continues to pursue his dream of becoming the first Gambian to win BET AWARD, pundits in the music circle have already rated Jizzle as the “change-maker” in The Gambian Music Scene, with his album looking to be the best in the history of the music industry.
