Meet Nigerian robotic expert who makes space drones for NASA

Nigeria as a country has for some time fallen prey to selective projections as the mass media prefers to amplify negativity at the expense of the exploits many of the citizens are making out there.

The country produces world-class doctors, scientists, engineers, among others who are working so hard without receiving the required recognition to help deal with the negativity its image has suffered.

Nigerian born Osatohanmwen Osemwengie who is a robotic expert is one of such people projecting the country at the international front.  The renowned innovator who hails from Edo state -Nigeria has been a lead team member of America’s National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Dr. Osato who has seven masters and four PhDs in much sought-after fields has been able to deploy several drones to many parts of the world since working with NASA. In an interview concerning his work with NASA, he stated that “Many years ago I worked on prototype of Mars Curiosity Rover that has roam Mars for more than 4 years and counting,”

One of the major feats achieved by this Nigerian genius is the service he is rendering to humanity by equipping many people across the world with knowledge in robotics. He founded a tuition-free robotic university in collaboration with Google+ that offers bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees.

Dr. Osato also owns a drone company called Ubiquity Interface Inc and is also the facilitator for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation sponsored Ohio Leadership for Integrating Technology Initiative (OLIT).

The exploits of the likes of Mr. Osatohanmwen Osemwengie should be of interest to the media space to give Nigeria the well-deserved positive mileage for her contribution towards making this world a better place.
