Nigerian Televangelist, TB Joshua reportedly passes on

Nigeria’s popular Televangelist and preacher, Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua has died. Local media reports have it that, the news was made public by family sources.

According to these sources, the 57-year-old who is the founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), a globally recognized and well-patronized church died in Lagos on Saturday, June 5th, 2021.

Mr. Joshua’s cause of death is yet to be revealed but family sources say the preacher died after his usual evening service. His body has been deposited at the morgue awaiting burial plans.

For many years now, Prophet TB Joshua has won the hearts of many people with His public display of religious power in exorcism and a supposed ability to cure all sorts of sicknesses. This has attracted many people globally.

Believers troop into Nigeria from all over the world, with sick people hoping for a deliverance from the Prophet or his disciples. Those who are not able to make it to the destination watches and follow directions on Emmanuel TV, which is a well patronized Television Station run by the preacher in expectation of their deliverance.

Through the activities of His Church, The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) which is mainly based in Lagos – Nigeria, the preacher has reigned for several decades. In some parts of the world, especially Africa, it is a norm to see images of the well-revered preacher on cars, private and public buildings among others.

To many, Temitope Balogun Joshua was more than a preacher. He was perceived by his followers as a demigod whose name alone could shield them from misfortunes. May his soul rest in peace.
